Welcome to WorcesterShriners.org

Dear Nobles:

I would like to congratulate our own 1 st Vice President Hermes Boyatis for receiving the ihMAN OF THE YEARlv award of The
Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company on April 8 th . It was unfortunate that we had to cancel our event on March 15 th due to lack of interest. All of you should have received an invitation to Overlook for a seminar, tour and lunch on April 22 nd . Please call Arthur Curtis at 508-434-2676 to make your reservations on or before 4/17/09.

Friday April 24 th WCSC members will be helping with the Circus in Wilmington. All those interested come to the Manor by
7:45 a.m.. Saturday May 16 th there will be a trip to Springfield Shrine Hospital to see first hand the great works that Shriners do. Space is limited so again please contact Arthur with your check and reservations (coupon below). Remember that your ladies and friends are welcomed. WCSC will subsidize most of the trip however there is a nominal fee of $10.00 which covers part of transportation as well as lunch. The Bus will be leaving from the Manor at 8:00 a.m. and the tour of the facilities will start at 10:00 a.m. and around 12 p.m. we will break for lunch followed by the ride home.

Please note that June™s ceremonial on the 13 th is going to start at 12 Noon for the new candidates and not in the morning as
it has been for the last few years. We will car pool from the Manor at 2:30 p.m. for the Ritualistic Degree Team portion. Tickets
must be obtained and paid for through Aleppo for the Barbecue.

We will partake in the parade at this year™s Grand Master™s Fair on June 14 th . We are looking to start a new UNIFORM UNIT
so all interested please come at our next Luncheon on May 6 th to discuss and give input, if you are not able to come please drop me or our secretary a note.

I am hearing that over the last few years all organizations are declining in membership. Freemasonry as well as Shrinedom is
not immune to this trend. Our Ill. Potentate Robert F. Smith has started a new campaign ia5K NO WAYla which means that he does not want Aleppo™s membership to fall below 5,000 (currently it is at 5,100 strong). This is very important in light of the bad news that was just announced at our luncheon in April Œ the possible closing of 6 to 8 of our hospitals. WE SHOULD NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! I am challenging everyone to sponsor at least one noble in 2009.

In closing I would like to tell everyone that 2 to 3 Mini Kars are available for sale. If anyone is interested to get in a lot of fun
driving one of these BABIES please call me or Wayne Bogar. Once again I would like to thank all nobles and their ladies that come
to our monthly meetings.

Fraternally, Savvas Fotiadis, President 2008
