Welcome to WorcesterShriners.org

Dear Nobles:
Our 4 th annual Help a Kid to Treatment Wine Tasting was a financial success. We were able to raise over $3,400
with less than 100 in attendance. With some more effort we can raise more funds as well as have a great time. I would
like to express my gratitude to all those individuals that contributed to this fine event, especially Wayne Bogar, Jamie
Jordan and Arthur Curtis.
April 25 th was the day that our club participated at the Circus at Aleppo Temple and once again we helped bring in
- as well as bring out - all those in attendance that were in wheelchairs. On May 6 th Worcester Academy held a cook-
off with proceeds going to our hospitals. I am proud to announce that we donated $2500 to Aleppo, on June 7 th at the
Ceremonial, in honor of our own Jamie Jordan who gave a heartfelt speech. This was followed by our Mini-Kars that
participated in the parade in review. The Grandmasterâ„¢s Fair was held in Charlton on June 8 th , on a very hot day and
our Mini-Kars were there once again with the Van a couple of marchers and also two Mini-Trucks from Aleppo joined us.
We look forward to our Ill. Potentate Stephen Eriksen joining us on August 8 th for an evening dedicated in his
honor. At our last directors meeting it was decided that on Tuesday August 19 th we will go to the Tornados game. The
club will use the Activity Funds collected at our monthly meetings to purchase the tickets. Everyone is invited. Tickets
will be distributed on first come basis. I am proud to announce we now have a Web Site in the making and you may find
us at http://www.worcestershriners.org. Please visit it and send any suggestions or comments to our secretary, Arthur
Curtis, so that we may make it better.
In closing I would like to thank all the nobles and their ladies that take time of their busy schedule and join us at our
monthly luncheon.
Fraternally, Savvas Fotiadis, President 2008
